Ukrain Russia War Latest Updates

The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, announced today, Thursday, that the American hatred of Russia has not decreased, but rather increased more for a long time and was in general in disguise.

Medvedev posted on his personal page on the "Telegram" platform, statements in which he said: The hatred and anger against Russia were present in the United States of America and increased in recent times, but this was not apparent in public.

"For a long time the hatred was disguised by the false smiles of American politicians and diplomats," Medvedev said. He pointed out that "the anti-Russian hysteria that we are witnessing now is by no means a new phenomenon. It was in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries."

Medvedev cited the poet Fyodor Tyutchev's lines about the frenzied hatred ignited in the West, who said: "It is as if it was written in 2022. History has convincingly proven that it repeats."

He concluded: "Russia, in its 30 years of existence, has been highlighted by the false smiles of politicians and diplomats who said one thing and did something completely different."
